Director of Global Sales
Deep Analytics, an intimate and successful startup developing a system for analysis and display of web information for senior decision makers, is looking for a sharp and self-motivated Sales Executive to drive its (already-selling) revolutionary product globally. This position requires an accomplished, experienced sales executive, as our targeted markets are governments, law enforcement agencies and large commercial institutions, with high-volume deals (mm of $$).
In this role you will be expected to:
- Take full ownership over initiation, management and successful finalization of (sometimes long) sale cycles.
- Think strategically - take broad visions and concepts to develop structured plans, actions and measureable metrics to then execute against.
- Oversee Sales Operations and own territory alignment/ optimization, deal management, pipeline, sales program support and all aspects of information management and technology for our organization.
- Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes.
- Surface sales best practices and operationalize across the field to scale the business.
To be successful you must have:
- At least 7 years of experience in sales leadership roles and consistent record of high achievement at selling high-end technology, B2B/B2G products.
- Demonstrated depth of knowledge about Sales methodology, strategic selling, and sales enablement.
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated success influencing key stakeholders and leveraging relationships. Experience with Channels Management.
- Deep understanding of marketing processes and sales readiness activities.
- Long-term vision, patience and commitment, as cycles can take from 6 to 12 months.
- Excellent English communications skills including presenting, editing, and writing as well as accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel on short notice, average of 40% of the time.
- Background in Intelligence and defense technology – a big advantage.
